Enhancements / Other Improvements

  • When attaching an image to the entry, we explicitly check to make sure it is a .JPG image file as that is the only image type currently supported.
  • The Login screen as well as the Loading Entries screens both now show the version of the application. This is so that you have this info available in case you need to contact us.
  • We have changed the support email link in the About screen to point to our web site's Contacting Us and Support Requests page. It is important when you file a support request to follow the instructions there so we can evaluate and respond quickly.
  • We have now introduced a manual mechanism to turn off the stack trace capability in exception handling. You should not need to worry about this, but if required, we can instruct you about how to turn it off.

Important Note

Existing customers of Life Journal (on the Shopify store) will get an email in their inbox with a link to download the installer for the latest version of Life Journal. We also deploy the app at the same time to the Windows 10 App Store. Please note however, that it can take between 2-5 business days for the application update to show up on the Windows store since it has to undergo a certification and deployment process (managed by Microsoft).

This is an in-place upgrade - which means that you simply download and run the installer and it will update the application. Your existing settings and data will not be affected in any way. If, for some reason, you do not get an email from us (please check your SPAM folder!), just contact us and we will get you sorted out.
